As well as creating delicious food for a variety of events in London and the South East, the team at By Ambience will work with your event and wedding planners to ensure the smooth running of your special day from start to finish.

We’re proud to offer bespoke packages, meaning our team of dedicated chefs will liaise with you to discuss your requirements, whether it be a traditional sit down meal, an impressive canapé and fizz reception, or even tasty sushi!

We don’t just cater for lunch and dinner – our specialists also offer BBQ’s, hog roasts and breakfast options for when you need great food without the hassle. The By Ambience team only use fresh, quality ingredients, which are sourced locally in Sussex wherever possible, meaning whatever the occasion you can rest assured we’ll provide a treat for the taste buds!

Meet our Managing Director, Gary!

Gary launched By Ambience in February of 2013 and has been serving up superb dishes ever since. He started training at Portsmouth South Downs College before quickly securing his first role at a two rosette seafood restaurant.

He moved on from here to spend four years working in various Michelin standard restaurants before travelling the world to widen his culinary knowledge.

Gary manages the By Ambience team by overseeing all projects undertaken by the company, ensuring that deadlines are met, and our clients are always happy with the service they receive.

In his spare time, he likes to raise money for charity by taking part in excursions like the Three Peaks Challenge.

Meet Kirsty, our Chef de Partie!

Kirsty joined By Ambience in 2015, starting as an apprentice while completing an NVQ at Sussex Downs College which she passed with flying colours and has since been a fully-fledged and highly valued member of the team.

She was worked on a variety of events within her time and is well known for baking the best Brownies you will ever taste!

In her spare time, she enjoys sports and plays in a local women’s football team.
